Sustainable kraft paper with sugar beet fibers - leading the way for the climate thanks to optimal resource utilization 

Several tests confirm: Our ecological kraft paper is significantly more environmentally friendly than other papers! It is certified with an environmental seal, which ensures that the wood used is either recycled or comes from forests that are responsibly managed. This serves to ensure social, ecological and economic aspects and leads to optimal forest utilization. New and groundbreaking is the use of sugar beet fiber, 20 percent of which is included in our sustainable wrapping paper. 

Sugar beet fibers have an 80 percent smaller ecological footprint than wood cellulose fibers. The reason: wood fibers contain 26-34 percent lignin, which must be dissolved out through energy-intensive chemical processes. Sugar beets contain just 0.5-2 percent lignin.
